Guess who's inconsistent? *raises hand with a tight smile*
The Gruco boys are all VERY different. I am one writer with one style, but wowza do I love variety. You'll see that with this series, so I'll give you a little breakdown of what to expect! These are all standalones, so feel free to jump around or skip books entirely.
His Promise - The politician.
This book is the least dark out of the series but starts off HOTT. It's mafia-esque because Colter's related to the mob, but he isn't a criminal. Readers searching for spice, an alphahole MC, and a fake relationship trope will love this.
His Pet - The crazy one.
Lorenzo. Wow. Check out the reviews on retailers. What do they say? That I'm a sicko, that's what hahaha. This one is dark, my love. Proceed with caution. Readers searching for a Nicole Cypher special blend of crazy will love this one.
His Prize - The don.
My personal favorite, Settimo's story. It's hott but not dark. It's got my favorite villain. Settimo is a jerk, but you'll love him. Readers searching for the classic mafia romance feel who also enjoy a lot of action and suspense will love this one.
His Puppet - The captive.
This one is mid-dark. If you enjoy captive romances with competent female main characters and a classic alpha male, this one is for you.
His Property - The sadist.
He's got a bucket of trauma, but does it excuse him? You decide. This book is the darkest of the series and for lovers of pain play, dub-con, submissive/masochistic female main characters, and people who love a broken hero.
His Passerotta - The soft one.
This story is so sweet. I mean it's not, he kidnaps her and everything, but it's got an instalove feel and they have such cute banter. This is for those who like a bad boy but don't want him to keep them up at night. Also ... suspense!
It was just a one night stand…
As a single mom on the run from my abusive ex, I should’ve known it was a mistake to crawl into the councilman’s bed, especially since he clearly believed I was someone else. But I never could’ve imagined the repercussions. I never could’ve imagined it’d send the mob after me.
They think I know things.
They think I need to be silenced.
And now I need the councilman’s protection… Even if he’s the last person I ever want to see.
That's how I usually handle those who cross me. Being a capo for the most elite crime family in Las Vegas, it doesn’t happen often.
The little princess/animal right’s activist made this fight personal. My casino and our Ring of Fire show are both precious to me. After months of protest, she got the act shut down and my animals taken away. Pets I loved and cared for every day of their lives.
If the saucy little girl wants to take what’s mine, she can replace it... with herself.
It’s time to meet my new pet.
Alex...
He won me in a poker game.
It wasn’t my fiancé’s place to bet me, but what do you expect from a man who’s being forced to marry you? Imagine my surprise when the man I met at a chance encounter, the same one I later learned was the don of the Italian mafia, is the one who claims me as his prize. As the daughter of a Russian member of the bratva, I’m supposed to be a peace offering for the Italians. But the don seems to have no idea about it. Settimo Gruco is rumored to be as sinister as he is dangerous, and I’m told if he learns who I am, he’ll kill me. But in a world full of criminals, he becomes the one I trust the most.
Settimo...
I won her in a poker game.
All I wanted was another night with the beautiful girl I met on one of the darkest days of my life, and her fiancée was stupid enough to give it to me. I tell myself Alex is just another girl, but she’s becoming an addiction, and I can’t seem to curb my craving. When I find out her connection to my greatest rival, I’m forced to weigh the benefits of keeping her alive. Despite where she comes from, I trust her. If my gut instinct is right, by the end of the war with the bratva she’ll be my biggest ally… if they don’t kill her first.
Tempers are rising, with threats closing in from all sides. In an escalating war, can two opponents join forces? Or is blood truly thicker than water?
They call me “Blade” because they don’t know my real name.
And no one would ever dare to ask. I’m a capo in the Gruco Crime Family and a man who’s accustomed to going unchallenged. No one would be stupid enough to go against me… Except for the pickpocket foolish enough to steal from the familia.
She’s nothing but a thief, a nuisance, but she catches my attention. She’s clever, cunning, sexy, and above all… useful. The burden of deciding her fate is thrown onto me, and it’s good news for her because I don’t waste talent.
I give her a choice. Work for me… or choose a fate worse than death.
I’ve never been one for rules.
Being a soldier for the Gruco Crime Family has done more for me than I can fully express. It’s given me purpose, a home, and above all else, an outlet for my more sinister desires. But for as much as the familia gives, the rules they put in place to tame me take away.
For years, I’ve used my position to feed my demons, but they’ve never been fully satiated. I never knew just how starved I was until I meet the curly-haired good girl with a taste for sin that matches my own.
She owes the Gruco’s money, and I happen to be the debt collector. When she makes me an offer that will quench my thirst after all these years, I can’t refuse… no matter what rules I have to break.
*Warning: this book contains sadomasochism, including pain play and other dark situations that may be disturbing for some. Reader discretion is advised.*
I didn’t know my boss was a criminal.
Well, not for certain. I’ve been crushing on Anthony Gruco for months, but the idealized version of him I’d conjured in my mind doesn’t even resemble the Italian mafia capo I meet the night I break into his restaurant.
I’m only there to retrieve the phone I left in my locker, but I hear voices in the next room and am stupid enough to listen. By the time I realize it’s a mob meeting, it’s too late. They catch me, and despite all my newfound knowledge, I still beg Anthony for help.
Now I’m in the trunk of his car, wondering one thing…
What do you do when the man of your dreams might be the villain of your nightmares?
